We recommend physical examinations allow the doctor to examine your pet in detail. During the exam, we will check the eyes, ears, teeth and gums, heart, lungs, abdominal organs, nervous and musculo-skeletal systems as well as the skin and coat. At this time, you can call our attention to any changes that your pet may have been exhibiting over the past year such as changes in attitude, appetite, thirst, urination, defection, itchiness etc. A good history from you and a thorough physical examination allow us to catch problems your pet may be faced with at the earliest, most treatable stages. Frequently, early detection may help your pet avoid unnecessary suffering and may result in substantial savings to your pocketbook. |
