lab.jpg (75309 bytes)Our laboratory is exceptionally well equipped to help us diagnose your pet's problems as rapidly as possible.  We have two automated chemistry machines that test the different organ systems, including the kidneys, liver, pancreas, electrolytes etc. 

We have an automated hematology machine to evaluate your pet's white and red blood cells as well as platelet counts. 

 

microscope2.jpg (44162 bytes)We use our high powered binocular microscope to evaluate specimens from your pet for the presence of parasites and fungus.  It also allows us to evaluate samples of tissue for signs of cancer, inflammation and/or infection. 

 

 

 

We contract with an outside lab to perform tests that are beyond our capabilities.  We generally receive results over night reported to us directly by computer.
